PG coating Pyrolytic Graphite coating
As a coating for sealed processed graphite hardware, pyrolytic graphite (PG) forms an impermeable protective layer with mechanical, thermal and electrical properties beyond those of conventional graphite. PG is an ultrapure product with close theoretical density and high anisotropy (300 W/m-K in the AB direction and 3.5 W/m-K in the C direction). PG is chemically inert and stable at extreme temperatures (up to 3000°C).
Non-toxic and tasteless;
Ultra-high purity(99 .99%)
Good stability, High operating temperature
Good thermal conductivity, small thermal expansion coeffi-
cient, good thermal shock resistance
Good chemical stability, resistant to acids, alkalis, salts and organ-
ic solvents, and does not infiltrate or react with molten metal
Very low outgassing rate
No pores, good air tightness, easy machining
